La collezione prende il nome dalla celebre pellicola del regista Lars von Trier “Dogville”. Un viaggio attraverso cinema, arte e teatro. una lotta tra gioia e sofferenza, tra forza ed insicurezza. Toni cupi si alternano a tessuti tartan, gabardine, piume e principe di galles (leitmotiv dell’intera collezione), acquisendo pian piano sempre più colore. Abiti decostruiti vengono ricostruiti per creare qualcosa di nuovo. Due elementi si uniscono per crearne un terzo. Un contrasto tra luce ed ombra, due facce della stessa medaglia, le quali non possono annullarsi a vicenda, ma solo coesistere. Dogville sarà sempre dentro di noi. Toccherà tuttavia proprio a noi decidere se combatterla o convivere con essa.
The collection bears the name of the famous movie “Dogville” directed by Lars von Trier. A journey through cinema, art and theatre. A fight between joy and sufferance, strenght and insecurities. Dark tones alternate with tartan, gabardine, feathers and prince of wales fabrics (leitmotiv of the entire collection), acquiring gradually more and more color. Deconstructed clothes are now reconstructed in order to create something new. Two elements come together to give birth to a third one. A contrast between light and darkness, two sides of the same coin that cannot destroy each other. They can only coexist. Dogville will always be within us. It’s up to us whether to fight it or not.
